Jason Thompson is the Principal Designer and founder of Rissay, Ltd. If

Jason's interest in design was first sparked during his high school years
in his home town of Las Vegas after a successful builder-turned-architect
friend of his family’s noticed Jason’s ability to communicate through
exceptionally well drawings, strongly encouraged him to pursue design.
What was once seen as only a hobby to Jason, propelled him into the
formal study of fine art and eventually, architecture. Jason graduated from
Philadelphia University, (formerly Philadelphia Textiles), with a B.A in
Architecture and worked for a busy, commercial and residential firm for
several years before later joining with partner, Scott McLeer to form
Rissay.
More often than not, designers seldom see their work fully executed.
Some can often spend years on a design that may never make it off
paper. It was with this realization and a growing interest in construction
that prompted Jason to make his work more tangible by founding Rissay,
Ltd., a firm that not only designs but can build in one single act.
Taking cues from the project site, listen intently to clients, and conducting
thorough research before putting pencil to paper are all part of Jason’s
practice. During the construction phase, he helps to ensure the accurate
execution of the design. This attention to detail helps Rissay meet, and

Scott’s approachable, down to earth nature often influences an intimate,
personal atmosphere wherever he works. Being a father of two and a
devout family man, Scott is sensitive to the impact a project can have on a
family’s daily routine. He understands first hand the logistics of getting a
family ready and out the door at 7:30am and treats every home as if it
were his own.
With a multitude of culinary experience and a strong background in
construction Scott is cross-disciplined and carries an abundance of

Scott spent many long hours working behind the scenes during his
culinary career while wearing a variety of hats from dishwasher, to chef at
a four-star luxury inn, management, and lastly opening restaurants.
During his culinary career he had learned the importance of great project
management in order to flow seamlessly without having to rework,
interrupt, or experience downtime. He has the natural ability to manage
multiple people and tasks while keeping communication frequent and
direct with clients throughout the entire project. After opening the last
restaurant, Scott became impelled to pursue a career in construction
more vigorously and years later partnered with Jason Thompson to form
Rissay, Ltd.
Scott has earned the reputation of being highly trusted and well liked on
top of his various competencies. Over the past decade he has been
referred to as almost a family member or an old friend by many of Rissay’
s clients to the degree of becoming a guest to highly important family
